Can not burn in cdrwin

I have been having problems burning a bin/cue file using cdrwin. I can burn fine using NTI, so it doesn't seem to be a problem with my hardware. When I burn using cdrwin, it actually burns the disk, but it says there is nothing on it. If I look at the properties of the cd, it says 700mb used and I noticed the format is RAW instead of CDFS, which I think is the problem. I have only used the defaults for cdrwin. Has anyone run into this problem before? I'm using the up to date ASPI files for XP and I have cdrwin setup to use the ASPI files that were installed with cdrwin.

To get around this problem I have been using ISO buster to convert the BIN/CUE file to data and just using NTI to burn it, but this takes up a lot of time and cdrwin should work.

Any suggestions would be great.

Thanks

Do you have a licensed version of CDRWin? If not that could be your problem. Goldenhawk is very good about finding the common crack codes and cracked serials, and cracked .exe's and making CDRWin not work. They usually have it so that it will burn the whole disk and then crap out or do something like you said just to waste as much of your time as possible for using stolen software.

Just a thought, and something that I wanted to point out again about that software that some people don't seem to realize.

I have tried burning a CUE File with Nero and Fileburner and both gave me 2 bad discs.

I used Nero, than "burn an image" and than selected the BIN file. And selected "Raw mode" .It worked fine.

I don't think it has todo with licensing. If you goto their site and look at the supported drives, if your's is not there then forget it. For example I have a LG 32x10x40 it's an 82* something. and it's not even supported in the 4.0a version and won't work.

On the other hand fireburner is not drive specific and will work on mostly any drive.

If you have Nero just use it to burn the cue/bin.

Make sure the bin/cue are in the same directory.

Goto the file menu and pick Burn Image, pick the .CUE file as your burn image.

You need to be running at least Nero 5.5.8.0 (current is 5.5.8.2) for .CUE files to be supported.

Thanks for the suggestions. As for cdrwin, the cdrom is supported by them, so it should work. I will try fireburner and Nero. As for the Fireburner, is there a website to download a working version? I downloaded it from some website and it will only do a "test burn" and not actually write to the CD. I would like to try it and see how it works before purchasing it.
