Ok, if I'm correct, my BIOS automatically set my AGP Aperture size at 64mb because my card is a 128mb card...so it automatically sets it at half of that...right? That's what I have heard, so correct me there if I'm wrong.

If the above is true, is it possible to use NiBiTor to modify my 6600gt BIOS to make the card show up as a 256mb card (setting the AGP Aperture at 128mb)? It's just one idea I had at trying to get my AGP Aperture size up, since I can't do that through my BIOS (sony...bleh).

I've heard it's ideal for the AGP aperture to be set at half, but I haven't heard the BIOS automatically does it. In any case forcing 256 MB within your card's BIOS can damage it if you're willing to risk that. But why do you need to change the AGP aperture? (i.e. what's the problem?)

3dmark06 doesnt run right if the aperture size is at 64mb (or at least not for the 6600gts i dont think), and I could see this as causing problems with other future games as well.

So yeah, it's basically just so I can run 3dmark06 properly, which isn't worth it, i know...oh well.
