Can 'Net Send' send anything else besides text?

Lol...if u want to send images or something i remember i usedto use that program called netbus but its a trojan....heh those were the days.

That sucks. It could be so much more useful if it allowed other features...

It wasn't developed with file transfer in mind, that why there is such thing as FTP.

If you bring up a dos prompt, you can type "net send <system to contact> <text to send>" and it will pop up a message on any computer on your network. :)

Snazzy feature if you dont wanna use IM clients to talk to peeps on your network. :D

how is it easier than IM programs? I believe each instance only brings up a pop-up window with the sent msg. Having IM programs allows you to have a running history of the conversation as well as online/offline away status...Of course this would be for more of an office network setting, it's a lot easier to see if someone is on by walking into their bedroom and looking yourself.

It can also be used to distract CS rivals by popping them back to the desktop. I had many deaths because of such evil tactics.

Doesn't work on W9x machines not logged into a domain... at least the receiving part. I'm fairly certain.
