can ne1 help me with Outlook Express please

I went to import my mail off a cd from a previous install and when I did..I think I screwed up.

I basically copied and pasted it all in the identities under outlook.Usually I never have any problems but....this time I did
If I remember correctly I need to go in and rename some files,but not sure which ones to get my email back.


Here's the error's I get when I launch Outlook Express..this one first then when I close that one,this one comes up.

Any help would be mucho appreciated

Step one is to undo what you did. First try System Restore and go back to the day before you made this boo boo. In the future, all you need to do is locate your OE mail files and copy them. Then make the change. They do not impact on the program's operation. What you did does.

If you can't restore so that OE6 works, you may have to uninstall it then reinstall it.

When OE works, you can open Tools, Options, Maintenance (tab) and then look for the STORE FOLDER. That is your mail - leave Identities alone.

That button allows you to put your mail failes anywhere you choose - even on a flash drive or external.
