Can my sff pc handle a highend videocard?

I've moded it to use a 250w shuttle powersupply.

I'm running a 2400xp processor and 2 256chips of ddr. I also have a soundblaster audigy card installed.

I currently have a radon 8500 and i'm looking to upgrade for everquest2 and half-life2.

I'm fairly sure i could get away with running a radeon 9800pro but can i use anything higher end? I'd like to run a geforce 6800 if i can get away with it.

Does anybody know for sure if the system has enough juice to run one?
