Can my PSU handle a X1950XT?

I have an "old" enermax PSU rated at 475w total with 34a 3.3v, 40a 5v, and dual 12v at 16a and 15a respectively. I just purchased a Saphire X1950XT for a new build however realized i dont have the required 6pin PCI-E power connector. Ill get an adapter for it if there seems to be a point - can i reliably run the card with this PSU? I sure hope so, but want to check. Thanks.
