My current computer specs:
-Q6600 2.4 ghz quad core
-two hard drives
-8500 gt

My power supply says:
-Max continuous power: 350W
-12Va: 18A
-12Vb: 18A
+5V: 13A
+3.3V: 15 A
COmbined power on 12a and 12b total 300W

This power supply came with my HP and it Delta Electronics brand.

I would like to put an ATI 4770.
Do you think I can or should I replace my power supply?

It should be enough for that card, personally I would upgrade the PSU if you have the money.

That ought to be plenty of power. The 4770 is very efficient. I am also glad to hear HP is using Delta PSU's now, I wasn't sure whether they were or not

The 4770 is designed to be a lower power draw card, if I can run a 4830 on a 400W generic power supply, that thing should handle your 4770 easy.

I'm thinking about it, but I also want to get a new monitor.
And I can only afford one of those right now.

The 4770 should only consume about 53-78 watts max under heavy load, so there shouldn't be any issues power it up. The 4830 is about 85 - 125 watts under heavy load, so there is quite a bit of power consumption difference in the 2 GPU's. If you want to look up power consumption amounts, see my link in my signature.

You should have no problems!
I am running a delta 350 and a Amd phenomx4 940 at 3.0 Quad core with 6 gigs ram and a 4770 with no problems at all!
The PSU doesn`t even ramp up at all!!
Course I bought a HP....nice card the 4770!!
