Hi, I have a MSI 845E Max motherboard using 512 pc2100 ram. My Processor is a Pentium 4 1.6a ghz so I'm trying to use its full potential.
When I first overclocked I had to same mobo, same processor but only 256 pc2100 ram. The memory is from Hynix. I could overclock my
processor to 2.14ghz and my memory would run at 354mhz and my fsb was set to 133 from 100. I was totally impressed by my overclock and how fast
my computer really was after the overclock. Then i decided to add another 256 pc2100 ram. After I installed it, tired going into windows i get a restart.
This new memory must be real crap and I can't overclock for crap now.

So my question is, although i have a MSI 845E Max that doesn't support pc2700 memory can i still use it without any problems and can i overclock as good
as i used to? I feel i wasted my money on this new trash memory and I want to OVERCLOCK!!

Thnx for your time and HELP!!
