Can my motherboard run this GPU?

Im planning to replace my dead card Asus en210 with HD7770 Sapphire/Powercolor.

Motherboard: Asus P5KPL-AM (Intel Chipset G31 Intel ICH7, PCIe x16 1.1, with bios update of 2010)
CPU: Dual Core Intel e5200 3.1ghz OCed
RAM: 4GB ddr2

so, will it run the gpu? can the bios recognize the card?

Thanks!

Should run the card. Couple things though (if you didn't know this already)

1. PCI-E 1 will limit the card a bit.
2. The HD7770 will take a good bit more power than the GeForce 210 did, so make sure you have a decent power supply.

Shouldn't need to, but if you do happen to run into a compatibility issue then yes I'd first suggest updating the BIOS.

It may be PCIe Gen 1, but that shouldn't limit that card any.

@Drachir: How many different forums are you going to ask this exact same question? This makes the third forum I have seen you ask that same question and all with the same results. LOL I don't get it, do you not believe all the responses that you have gotten in all three forums?

Glad to hear it's working. Are you seeing some good performance improvements?

BTW: Nothing to be sorry about. The internet is a big place. And I don't know why people have to waste their time A) looking for your post all over the internet and B) to only post that they had done so.
