Can my computer handle a 2tb HDD?

My Seagate 1.5tb is starting to make the tick of death noise. I will be buying a 2tb HDD to replace it but wasnt sure if there will be any problems with my motherboard or windows being able to recognize this size. I will be using it as storage and not a boot drive. I've read that people mention MBR or GUID Partition Tables but I'm not sure if that applies to me. My specs are below. Please let me know if you need any more information. Thanks!

AMD Athlon 64 X2 5600+ 2.9Ghz
Asus M2N-SLi Deluxe (Phoenix AwardBIOS v6.00PG)
Boot hdd: (2) Intel 80gb SSD in Raid0
Storage hdd: Seagate 500gb
Storage hdd: Seagate 1.5tb (dying)
4gb DDR2
Windows 7 64-bit Home Premium
