can mx and matrox card work together???

i have the MSI MX agp and the poor 2d really strain my eyes.
would i be better off modding the MX for better 2d or buying a G200/400 PCI ??? can they work together in a system???

The Matrox G200 and Geforce 2 MX would not work together with the 6.50 NVIDIA drivers. The system would crash when you ran in Directdraw. The 7.52 drivers fixed it though. Don't know if this will happen also with the 450 card.
