I'm talking about model number 60XMH6HS3HMW

The newegg link is: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16814162058

Multi-GPU is not an option for me. Therefore I'm in a weird situation where if I stick with 5040x1050, I must use a Radeon. Realistically that means choosing one of the following:

1) wait for a good deal on a 5770 (the best I can find right now is $135AR shipped from Tiger, which is a pretty cold deal; I live in CA so newegg is kinda meh). An oc'd 5770 can run 1680x1050 fine, and maybe even some old games at Eyefinity resolution. I would keep my 3-way monitor setup for productivity tasks.

2) Galaxy GTX 460 768MB at $140AR shipped from Tiger. I would temporarily* break up my EyeFinity and go from 5040x1050 to 1680x1050 for gaming--talk about a huge decrease in needed horsepower! I would retain a second monitor for productivity tasks, but obviously it's useless for gaming, aside from some oddballs like Supreme Commander that can use 2 screens.

3) Wait for the crappy price-gouging to stop on the 6850/70 cards. Note that I have suffered over 6 straight weeks of being on IGP already, ugh. I also pay CA taxes and Newegg is charging shipping on 68xx-series cards.

All of my options kind of suck, but 2) is maybe my best choice if price gouging continues, hence my question above. Galaxy's own software doesn't support overvolting, so I'd like to use MSI Afterburner but can't seem to find confirmation that this particular card works with Afterburner.

I plan to wait for several days to see if there are further price cuts, but I don't think I can last more than another week or two before making a decision.

* I plan to upgrade to a Kepler or HD7xxx series card next year. Hopefully Kepler will have 3-way monitor support.
