Can MS Backup span CD-RW's?

I'm trying to backup my system onto CD-RW's using the MS Backup that came with Win98SE, but it's not working. As soon as it gets to the end of the first CD-RW, it gives an error message saying it ran out of room, and doesn't give an option to span to another CD-RW. 🙁 Is there any way to get it to span CD-RWs?
