it will, but once the trial expires, you keep very annoying pop-up windows every 3 seconds or so

Does it convert to wave and back for this function, or can it manipulate them completely in mp3 format, so I do not loose any sound quality?

I have lots of files to join.
I am hoping for a small free software rather than working from the DOS prompt.
Thanks.

Write yourself a script to do it.

If your files are consecutively named it shouldn't be too difficult.
