I just switched my mobo out from an msi k7t-pro2a over to an asus a7v133. I am using an AMD 1GHz athlon socket a. Now that I have done so, I notice that in windows i get a TON of errors. Like when i start up any executeable it cant find a certain file, or as soon as i boot into windows it finds registry errors, or if i try a fresh format it cant find some files upon installing system files (different ones every time). I figured it was my hd, so i swapped it out for another one, same problem, so i reformatted, same problem, etc. Then I check my cpu temps and they are around 53-56, which sounds kinda high. So i figured that maybe i didnt get a good seat when reinstalling my HSF. So I reinstalled it, and still had the same problems. I even went out and bought a bigger HSF and it still does the same thing (even if using the thermal pink pad that comes on the HSF). So, my question is, could it be the motherboard causing it to do all this? That is the only thing i can think of since i have gone through a lot of trouble trying to narrow it down.....Thanks in advance.....
