Can memory be both unbuffered and registered?

I'm buy a MSI 694D Pro-A board and the specs say

"Support eight memory banks using four 168-pin unbuffered and registered DIMM. Support a maximum memory size of 2.0GB. Support ECC (1-bit Error Code Correct) function. Support 3.3v SDRAM DIMM."

but later on says

"VIA 694X Chipset (510 BGA), P-II FSB @ 133MHz, AGP 4x and PCI plus Advanced ECC Memory Controller, Support PC 100/133 SDRAM, VCM, & ESDRAM technology"

So - is it saying it support unbuffered or registered DIMMs or is it saying unbuffered and registered DIMMs

3 types of DIMMs exist:

Normal (Unbuffered)....what just about everyone uses...
ECC ....used for servers....slight performance hit.
ECC Registered.....supposed to be top end expensive stuff.
