I am not an expert on this, but if the Quadro card is PCI-E
then I see no reason not.

depends on what part. PSU? probablly not. RAM? nope. but things such as harddrives and graphic cards, why not? as long as the interface is the same, why not?

They require special firmware to work in the Mac Pro. Apple uses the Extensible Firmware Interface (EFI).

Kinda makes sense to me.

Mac Pros use EFI, Powermacs used OFW. Different firmwares on the board, different boot processes, etc.
