How do we install an M.2 NVMe SSD in HP Pavilion 15" AMD A10 beatsaudio?
Would there a readily available slot/connector/socket and enough space?

What is the specific model of the laptop? It will start with "15", possibly then a letter (though not always), followed by a dash and 5 to 7 letters and numbers.

There should be a model number somewhere on the laptop. Something like (examples) 15-p037cl or 15z-aw000, etc. It may be located on a sticker on the bottom of the laptop, or (if it has a removable battery) in the battery compartment under the battery. If you still have the box it came in, the model number should be shown there (or on the purchase receipt) as well.

The reason you need to provide this is that there are literally hundreds of different HP laptops with tons of sub-models that add or remove features.

That laptop is old enough that it doesn't have an m.2 slot. As a result, you can only upgrade it to a 2.5" SSD.

In terms of day to day use you probably won't really notice a lot of difference between a quality 2.5" SSD and an NVMe drive (it is mainly a marketing thing for most use cases). The main thing is to get a decent brand 2.5" SSD drive that isn't DRAMless or cacheless so it doesn't drain system resources during operation. In other words, don't go for the cheapo SSDs.

For future reference, the user manual and technician service manual (which shows you hardware options and how to service the machine) are all located on this page.

Actually I just knew it, the point of m.2 NVMe is just I need its good compact small size.
Does this have PCIe x4, x8, or x16 so can resort to by use of a adapter ?
