Can Logitech Z-680 subwoofer be used w/ a standalone home theater receiver?

I RMA'd my Logitech speakers and now I have an extra subwoofer now just sitting in my room (along w/ 5 extra satellites.) I want to try to hook it up to my standalone home theater receiver (cuz my 50-watt KLH sub ain't cuttin it.) Anyone know of any way to do it? Usually the sub takes input via the control pod via that 15-pin VGA connector, but I had to mail the pod in for my RMA. The satellites can obviously work, but I wonder if the sub can somehow be configured to just take a sub line-in or something. Any help would be appreciated. Sorry if wrong forum...

I can't help you with this question unfortunately. But what I would like to know is how you RMA'ed without the sub?

They only needed the control pod and the remote. The sub is still here and works, except that one of the 5 speaker outputs is busted. it's supposedly useless though w/o the control pod. so this is how my computer soundcard is connected to the speakers: soundcard analog -> control pod via 15-pin d-sub -> subwoofer via red/black wires -> 5 satellite.
