I agree with MG about the nVidia drivers thing.
Having the source is nice, but in the end, what I ultimately want is a system that works well, and in my experience, nVidia's drivers help me with that, in that they are stable and fast.
So, in the end, while having the source would certainly be nice, Im thankful that nVidia spends time to keep their Linux drivers in the same shape as their Windows drivers, something other companies should be doing as well.
