Can LCD TVs do scaling?

Can LCD TVs do scaling like monitors do? (ie. 1:1, full screen, aspect)

Or is it specific to each TV?

Or maybe you can do it from within drivers when connected as a monitor?
 
All fixed-pixel displays do scaling. Some do it better than others, some work with computer resolutions better than others, Read up on the display you want for model-specific info.
