can lcd monitors be fixed? if so, where can i find these guys?

I have a viewsonic va800 that's barely a year old and its no longer usable, i can still get picture but on the right side of the monitor there's a bunch of horizton lines and it flickers alot. wondering if there's someone out there that fixes these monitors

I doubt it can be fixed. But it may be still under warranty with Viewsonic. Have to check with them. If not, then its time for a new monitor.
 
thanks, too bad it's a few of months out of warranty, the life of the monitor only had 18 months out of it...
