Who else is stuck at work on July 4th? I should be at a friggin BBQ and it's a beautiful day outside. But no, I'm stuck indoors where there is no sun. At least I have AC and a T1, makes up for it somewhat.

Hey, something worse happened to my roommate. 4 of us decide to drive up to Seattle for New Years and x-mas. This was during the 1999-2000 change, which, you guessed it, was the big 'ol Y2K year. And since my roommate's a network administrator, he was forced to work on New Years Eve. So, here's his timeline:

Dec. 23 -> Drive 12+ hours from the Bay Area to Seattle (we took his car, btw)
Dec. 29 -> fly back down to the Bay Area to be at work
Jan. 2 -> fly back up to Seattle
Jan. 3 -> start the 12+ hour drive back to the Bay Area

The dates might be a little off, but that was the general timeline. :)

It could be worse, the 4th of July could be another day and we could all be British! ;)

I'm at work and the A/C is cranked up to mega-lethal levels. I shouldn't have worn shirts and a short sleeve shirt to work. At least I have a few T1's to play with. I've been watching my new Robotech dvds. I am one of three people in the office.
