I have:
A7N8X deluxe
1700+ b
2 sticks PC3000 (256x2)
Leadtek Winfast TV2000XP Deluxe

I can run 11.5x 180fsb all day long no problem - maybe higher except:

Any time I go over 175fsb (no matter what multiplier: 7x - 12x) although the system runs fine the audio from the tuner cuts out after anything from 0 - 30 minutes of use.
The system audio keeps on working but the audio from the tuner cuts out and it takes a system restart to get it back.

I've tried several different bios, currently the 1003 Uber bios. Doesn't matter if I max out the voltages or keep them a little lower, same results!

I updated the tuner drivers to the most current.

Ever hear of this, or even better someone out there got this same thing going on?

Ok, no response?

How about this - does anyone think it could make a difference which PCI slot I put the tuner in?
Is it possible to make the tuner more stable in a different slot?

Are you running onboard sound? If so, check if you have the latest drivers. Also you could disable the onboard sound and try a card if you have one around.

Yeah, I am using the onboard sound & have the latest drivers - have tried older newer drivers to no avail too.

I have some Creative Labs 128 something or another sound card here I could try, however the strange thing is that the system sound still works fine when this problem happens. I can play cd's mp3's vids, dvd's - just nothing that requires line in. I guess I could check to make sure whether it's the sound system's line in or the tuner's line out by plugging something else into the line in when this happens and see if I get sound from it.

One thing I heard from Mofunk is that with his nforce2 system he thinks it makes a big diff which slot things are plugged into because some are shared with the AGP. I'll have to check the manual.
