I was driving home from school today and i get a flat tire so i pull over. Theres barely any space between the car and the freeway, and the flat is on the front right. Scared of getting hit by a car and not knowing how to change a flat, (well its not that hard i think) i call for someone to do it for me. Almost 2 hours later the guy still didnt show up... i was sleeping btw so i didnt know how long its been and i woke up cuz i got a call. Pissed that they didnt come yet, i call the person, (later found out it was AAA) and THEY STILL DIDNT EVEN LEAVE. WTF!!! They said theyll come right away and this time they did, and i got my flat changed. THERES MORE! After thats all done im back on the freeway (only 3 miles till my exit) theres a bike in the middle of my lane! Im going around 60 and sine my headlights suck i couldnt see the bike it all till it was too late. I tried to swerve(sp?) and but i was just too close and the right side of my car runs over the bike. Its been less then 1 minute since i got my flat changed and i might have another ALREADY! But this time without a spare... i slow down to see if i could feel the car start to get retarded but it doesnt... So i keep driving and i end up at my house. I checked to see what dmg it caused on my car and part of the rims are torn off and the right side of my bumper (from the corner of the right side and the whole right part) just broke into off. this has to be the best day of my life!
QUESTION HERE: (for those that dont wanna read everything)
Soo anyways, my tires suck i think my sister (who owned the car before me) got like 4 for $100 tires. NO JOKE. What kinda tires should i get? I want better tires on my car anyways. I know nothing about tires so... What brand, year, model, used/new, good places in Orange County area? help me!
i hope that i dont go outside tomorrow and find out the other 2 tires on the right side are flat too...
EDIT: Ive decided that im going with used tires since the car doesnt have much life left in it anyways. How do u shop for used tires? anywhere i can find out?
