For those who aren't familiar with the system, most universities (if not all) will offer an option to take a class pass/no pass, meaning regardless if you get an A or C, you will just get units for it and it won't count toward your GPA. Generally there's a point where you have to declare this option by, for instance the 6th week in a 10 week system.
However my friend thinks he can somehow change this status AFTER he's finished the class..since he got a bad grade in it, to a pass.
Now maybe if you're a a private school student and your parents own an oil factory it may be possible..but even given someone like Bush/Kerry and their GPAs being relatively low and seemingly unmanipulated, I just don't see how this can be possible at any school.
