Looking to get an iPad2 for my wife's birthday present...the iphone4 doesn't have the best battery. Can she plug the iphone4 into the ipad2 to get longer life if she hotspots?
I am planning to use the hotspot ability rather than buying a 3g.
I had something similar where you charged a small spare battery, then plugged it into the iPhone, and that charged the phone. Probably didn't last as long, but the phone was more portable/usable when you needed it.
Well, if you are comparing the Nook Color to the iPad... The NC is half as much, so if what she wants is an ereader, and it has to be a nook, then yea get the Nook Color.
I think they just released full 2.3 for it, either as the default OS or a replacement, I cannot recall which, and you can use it as a tablet.
However, the iPad has more apps, a bigger screen, more battery life (when using it as a tablet), and the other obvious attributes.
