I'm flying from detroit to vegas on the 31st of october with myself and one of my buds. We want to dress up for halloween when we go to vegas, can we wear our costumes on the plane?

also, what should we dress up as?

Dress up as a airline pilot or maybe one of the ground crew.
 
I wouldn't. But if you like be held up and searched muliple times then go ahead. What time is your flight scheduled to land in Vegas?
 
Use common sense. They might not say anything if you don't cover your face but they could give you a hard time. I'd say just put it in your luggage or carryon and change in a bathroom or your hotel room when you get there.
 
haha, well, maybe I won't be dressing up for halloween on the plane. terrorist idea didn't even cross my mind haha. that would turn out to be a bad start to a good week if i did something like that 🙂

it would be funny, he could dress up as saddam and i could go as osama. haha

I was watching Airplane on A&E. This guy dressed up in a tiger costume. All the gate agents, security, other passengers were suspicious. He was questioned a lot but was allowed to board the plane.

If you like to questioned and hassled, go right ahead.
