I want to be able to hook up my TV to my computer so that I can watch streaming video on the TV. What hardware/software do I need to make that happen? Thanks!

you need:
1) a TV with either S-video or the AV inputs (dunno with the old RF TV's...)
2) a video card with TV-out, usually S-video out
3) a cable to connect the TV to the video card, S-video offers better video quality than converting S-video to AV
4) switch to whatever channel it is on (video1/2 or channel3) and enjoy
5) you'll realize that it offers quite disappointing video quality and cannot read small texts. videos are OK

enjoy

My 57" came with a DVI connection in back and it's the best connection by far. I tried with S-video and RCA and they both sucked. You can hardly read the text and the image was fuzzy. If your lucky go with DVI you'll be able to read everything.

I guess the question is what type of inputs does your TV have? My Ti4200 has an S-Video out, so I just run a cable and use nVidia's Media Center software that comes bundled with the Detonator drivers. If your TV doesn't have S-Video, then you need a breakout box to convert S-Video -> RCA (yellow video, white and red audio).
