Can I watch HD-DVD/Blu-Ray on my Dell 2405FPW?

I'm wondering if the lack of HDCP support on my 2405FPW will cost me the ability to watch hi-def movies. Is there a workaround? I love the screen and have been thinking about getting a PS3. Will it work?

Thanks! :)

you can watch it through vga, or use slysofts hd dvd software which decrypts it in the background (though the legality of that software is borderline). The ps3 will work through component, I am not sure if it will work through dvi (with an hdmi to dvi adapter).

It'll work now. Whether it will work in the future when HDCP is actually being used on discs is another matter.
