can i use usb reader for jaz piper files?

is there any way i can transfer mp3s to smarmedia cards using the usb reader as this is much faster than the serial cable that came with the jaz piper ,anyone know thanks

I have a Compact Flash Card USB reader which lets me copy anything over to the card. If you have Windows XP, just open up My Computer and it will show a new drive in the list when you plug the USB reader in. From there just copy/paste everything over just like you would to a folder/floppy disk.
