I was thinking about cutting a windows on the side of my Antec SKL3700AMB. I don't have power tools or hardware. This case is very durable and the metal is thick and hard. So I came across this Nibbler, but I am not sure if it can do the job. Does anyone know how well this thing works? Is there another way of cutting the window without power tools?
Thanks.

That will give you hand cramps/ blisters and will take forever to cut. Get a jigsaw or dremel. I just finished cutting my window with a jigsaw, came out nice.

any jugsaw will work honestly just make sure you get a blade made for metals though.....if heard a wood blade put in backwards works great too but ive never tried it.
also the nibbler is fine but itll take some work. myself ill use a air nibbler or a jigsaw for large projects and a dremal for the smaller ones

Also, use some wide heavy tape around the area you want to cut so the guideplate on the jigsaw doesn't scratch up the surface of your panel. Ideally you would cut with the panel laying on a thin piece of plywood so you don't buckle the panel either.

I think I am not going to try it. The case is still too new and nice to mess up.
Thanks for all of your help guys.

Is it your first case mod? I kind of screwed up my first case mod (Enlight 7237) - used way too much paint, cut the windows too close to the edges, and made the radius of the corner curves too tight, so the rubber molding I was going to use won't work. Kind of stuck with it now though.
My second case mod though - turned out very nicely if I may say so; was a generic, but actually very good quality, ideal for modding, case from eBay. Gave it a window, handle, and blowhole, among other things.

I did you guess Jeff. Yes it's my first but it might not be if I won't go for it. :D
