File Save Instructions: Select your FTP server
When prompted, choose "save to disk"

Looks like you could use it, but depending on what is in the tarball, you may need to have the kernel source installed, which you should be able to find a rpm or another package on the install cds for the distro.

don't worry the soruce is installed :)


I can't wait to start surfing with Red Hat! MAn oh man is it nice - and I thought Mandrake was the bizniatch of simplicity!

Just wait until the RPM hell kicks in, then you'll want to shoot your computer with a gun :) Seriously though, that's the reason I stopped using redhat, the packaging system is just horrible compared to Debian's or Gentoo's. I could never go back to RPM hunting when I can just emerge my apps with the quickness, having all dependencies taken care of for me :).
