Can I use this CPU\RAM together

OK so I have some spare parts floating around - An AXP 2800+ CPU, ECS AXP MB and 1GB of PC2700(333) Ram. I was wondering if this will work together in a box? I am used to using PC3200 for AXP 2500+ and above but if I can use ram I can put together a spare machine.... what are my options?
