Can I use this CPU cooler?

By looking at that cooler, I'd say you should be fine. At least Thermalright lists compatibility for their coolers on their web site... Easy to find and look up the board you intend to use with it too...

I would find the reseller you prefer, and ask for e-mail notification on the XP90.

I thought maybe you had not searched far enough, but I checked all my favorite resellers and -- yes -- it is not in stock.

But say. If you're building your machine for an AMD system, take a look at that third version of the XP120 that TR has introduced. Don't recall the model number.

If you can't wait, there are other good copper heat-pipe models that probably fit your machine, but my advice is -- pre-order and WAIT. I've only had my XP120 for about two weeks; I'm getting ready to install an XP90 on another system; no, I won't sell it to you-- it should have the same cooling capacity as the 120; and yes, I am impressed with the XP 120 after trying several copper heatsinks and heatpipe-heatsinks.

Pre-order and wait . . .

I'll be installing my 948U on my processor in a few days, once the fan for it arrives...

As for the xp-90, newegg is showing them as expected on Friday... Order it up and you'll have it next week. Provided it arrives on schedule.
