title
i have an 9500 pro sapphire OEM edtion, 3.3ns ram, can i use this silent HSF on it?
btw, are there tools to monitor vidcard temp and i have to flash the BIOS (which will void my warranty right?) to overclock my 9500pro right?

thanks

and also, would it be worth it for me to sell the 9500pro and get a 9700pro (from somewhere in our FS/T)?

upgrading.. depends.. if you like to use high resolutions.. like 1600x1200, and don't care much about AA/AF.. then radeon 9700 pro will be much faster.. like 80% faster...

if you like to use 1024x768/1280x1024 with 4xAA and 8xAF.. then stay with your 9500pro..

i don't see why the zalman wouldn't work with the 9500pro..

The zalman will work; i have it and get higher overclocks than with the stock cooling - with no noise!!!

Why? I'm confused with these gaming cards. Someone told me to look at the 9700 non pro instead of the 9500 pro for around $200. They said that they wouldn't upgrade from my PNY GF4 Ti4200 8x AGP card unless I used AA/AF.

Now.. I have a Dell 1800FP LCD running at 1280 x 1024. Which Radeon should I be looking at here? The 9500PRO, 9700non pro or the 9700 Pro?

BTW.. Can I put this Zalman on a GF4 Ti4200? Do you have to glue the Zalman on? I'd like the option to be able to remove the Zalman at some point.

TIA,

Sal
