Can I use the stock fan from my 3500+ with an X2 3800?

see subject for question. My x2 3800 from new egg just comes with the processor. I imagine the fan would still be fine for use with it right?
 
The stock fan for those two chips I believe is the same, so yes you should be able to use it.

But honestly, who uses stock cooling? 😛
