Can I use 'server ram' w/ my i7 920/P6T?

Hey Guys,

I have an i7 920 and a P6T Deluxe mobo. The 12GB kits of DDR3 is much cheaper for servers/there are more options on newegg. will this 'server ram' and others (DDR3) work for me? or only on the xeon boards?

That's registered memory, so no.

The server memory not only works on Xeon MBs but Opteron server boards also.
