can I use regular ddr memory on a new MB P 4 Socket 775 ?

when I say regular ddr I mean pc4000 etc.. or I need to use ddr2 only?

It'll depend on the board and its chipset. If you want to research a particular motherboard, you can either just go to Newegg and scope out what kind of memory slots it has, or you can visit the manufacturer's website and look there. I have a list of popular board makers here.

Bigger picture: as you shop the boards, also pay close attention to what kind of power supply they want, whether it's the ATX type with a 20-pin main power cable, or the EPS type with a 24-pin main power cable.

thanks but just to be clear on motherboard p4 socket T they will make some with ddr on it cuz I saw the ddr2 slot and is different to ddr that mean they will make some for ddr and ddr2?

Yeah, just not the top-of-the-line 925-series ones, which are supposed to be DDR2 only. Some boards may even have slots for both types.

The boards that can both types of memory may not have pci express support. Hope I'm wrong.

They do have PCI Express I believe they are the 915 series they will be able to use either ddr2 or ddr, but you can't mix them. I kinda of like the looks of ddr2 30% less voltage usage and the construction of them look really good especially the ones from Corsair.
