I am currently using svideo out to TV but have my component output dongle sitting in front of me and see component input on my TV. I dont have a component cable though. Could I use RCA cable to connect them?

thanks!

Video cable, yeah. The same spec is used for composite, component and digital audio -just with different colour coding. You could even use RG6 "cable TV/SAT" cable with RCA plugs or adapters from "F".
