Can I use Partition Magic to split both Hard drives in an ide RAID 1 setup?

I got 2 ide hard drives set up in a RAID 1 mirror setup. Can I use partition magic to create a new partition?

Partition havok should work just fine if you want to shrink a partition and then make a new one in the free space. I would really really recommend you backup before you begin though. I call it partition havok for a reason.

If what you are after is to simply split your mirror and have two separate drives you don't need partion havok for that. Just split the mirror via bios and reboot. Format the second drive that appears disk manager.
