Can I use one dsl account for 2 computers with different OS's (win 98 and win me)

I'm going to order dsl next week and will pick up 2 NICs and a router so that my PC and my brother's laptop can go online using the same DSL account. I use Win 98 and my brother uses Win ME. Can I still use the same dsl account (its a static IP I think) for both PC's even though we have different operating systems? Thanks in advance.
