Can I use my wireless laptop as a router?

I have a laptop that is connected to a wireless router. I was just wondering if i could hook my xbox up to my laptop and get an internet connection for my xbox?

Depends on your Internet source (DialUp or broadband)

For Broadband, you need additional NICs in your Laptop.

One configured to get the Internet, the other configured as LAN to connect to the X-Box.

You use WinXP native ICS the do the Routing.

Or just spend about $20 on a Wireless cable/DSL Router.

There is a way in XP to use your Laptop as a bridge if I understand what you want to do correctly.

You want the Laptop to connect to the internet via the wireless and then run wire from XBOX to laptop?

If the is the case I believe it can be done using ICS.
