can i use my siemens speedstream router as just a switch by turning off dhcp? i havea linix firewall router web server i want to use now but i need a swicht for it

yes, just dont use the WAN port, and disable DHCP.

or go buy a switch they're pretty cheap, I just picked up an 8 port 10/100 by Ark with auto MDI/MIDX ports for $23
