Can I use my Dell Axim as an IR remote control?

I have a Dell Axim Basic and would like to use it as an IR remote control for my TV/DVD player/etc. at a distance of about ten feet. Is there software that would allow me to do so? Macros included?

The X5's IR range is way too short, but the X3's range is adequte.

Programs include Nevo (I think that's what it's called) and some other one that you can easily find via google. There should be more than two though.
