Can I use my Asus A7v-266 board in my Dell Dimenssion 4500 Case?

I really like my Dell case a lot, but I'm putting together a new computer with an Asus A&V-266 Board and AMD XP 1800 Chip. Will it fit or can I get it to work in this case? If not is there a case that is similar to those cool Black Dell cases? I really like their design, feel, and look.

That may not be possible. Lookie here and here and you can get Dell's own response here.

For something in a smoked-grey color, Antec just released some metallic-grey PerformancePlus cases (their usual "black" case is sort of dark-dark-grey). I don't know how you'd get matching drives, unless you want to go for contrast with some silver drives from www.colorcases.com, or some black drives.

I wonder if Antec will release the PPlus cases in yellow. Then I would just need to paint some black spots on it... perfect. 😀

The only neat thing of the dell cases is the clam shell. The case is very flimsy. I've played with a 8200, 4400, gx240. I think you can use the case but there are several things. You must replace the PSU and maybe drill a hole for the exhaust fan. Another problem since ur running an AMD, you prolly need an intake fan also.
