Can I use Juno as a standard DUN connection?

I just got my Orinoco Lucent wireless setup and I am trying to use juno as my dial up connection.

Is there any way to do that? It always tells me i have the wrong username or password unless I use their stupid proprietary software.

Is there any prefix or suffix I should put with my username to make it function as a standard DUN connection?

Thanks

I dont know how I did it, but I can get onto the internet by using DUN to dial into juno. So, yes, it is possible.

Frenchie, but you still have that damn banner pop up don't you?

I can connect using a DUN icon, but I still have that frigging thing pop up. Makes it impossible to play games over the net. And once I activate atguard juno kills itself.

Look on 3com's web site for support for their LAN modem. They have some faqs that cover the major online services and how to connect to them using their router modem (which is in essence DUN). AOL is impossible, Compuserv requires scripting. I'm not sure who else they list. I'm happily posting along using DTS-NET for $10/month. I had some issues and the best way to get support is to fill out a complaint on their feedback log on the website. I digress.

vi_edit: actually, I dont have the banner. I pay the $9.95 per month so that I dont get the banner, get a better phone number with higher connection speed, and can play games....
