I'm 19 and 5'4" and definately unsatisfied with my height. I was just wondering if I could take HGH to get the slightest increase in height. I've heard that they use it to increase height in smaller children and atheletes use it to get performance increases? So is it the same stuff or what? Can you just get it over-the-counter?

Just have a doctor mess with your pituitary gland, and before you know it, you'll be 8 foot 6.

You can't get it over the counter.

It probably won't increase your height.

Athletes use it illegally to increase the hormones in their bodies so they get better recoveries and better gains when they are training.

Legally - prob not you are most likely within the normal range for you demographic, they only do it for peopel like my cousine who wouldent have reached 5 feet tall without HGH

HGH is very dangerous, it will increase your HGH level higher but a normal person has a constant flow of HGH that supports the system, and u have reached ur highest potential, will almost, if u take HGH u will grow but it may develope side effects such as the face bones will be enlarges and u will be uglier, literally.

Actually, in the states HGH can be prescribed by a DR for any use. Now whether or not it's "legal" in the sporting association the athlete may belong to is another story. :)

Well I saw this banner ad the other day for heightmax or some such that says it can increase height for "young adults" between 12 and 25... it was a banner ad so it's gotta be true, right? ;)

Does it really bother you that much? What aspect of your life do you think will change by being taller? What do you dislike the most about being shorter than average?

Depends if your bones have closed or not, when they have you can inject as much HGH as you want, your intestines will grow nicely giving you that pregnant monkey look many bodybuilders of today have though.

HGH doesn't increase the release of growth hormones it IS growth hormone (HGH=HumanGrowthHormone).

The sad thing about the medical community is that most doctors only know what the medical community has told them and HGH is a high profit drug.
