Can I use Core 2 Duo in this Dell Poweredge SC420?

It has this:

Intel® Pentium®4 processor, 520, 2.8GHz,1MB Cache

which I looked up and found it is socket LGA-775. The E6xxx series of Core 2 Duo are the same socket type, can I drop one in? Maybe with a BIOS upgrade (wonder if that's even available for this machine)? Any hacks I can do to accomplish this?

Google indicates you have the Intel E7221 chipset, which AFAICT does not support any Core 2 products. For that matter, it doesn't appear to support Pentium Ds.
