Hey folks,

I know a router goes for like $20 these days, but if I've got an old DSL modem/wirelss router in my closet I figure I should ask. It's a Westell 327W. My aunt does not have wireless yet. The ports on the back are appear to be DSL input but 4 ethernet ports are also in the back so I was wondering if I could configure it somehow or something. Please advise. Thanks.

Question: Do you intend to use the DSL part of it? Or just as an access point (to provide wireless access to existing network/internet)?

Yeah, sorry I should have clarified that. She's already on cable. DSL is out of the picture. I just want to use it as the wireless access point for her.....

Long answer, lol?

It's going to be a biatch to configure or something - especially w/ little to no networking skills?

(Link broken BTW Jack)
